In my opinon, it is not strange to bring your lunch, perhap it is better than you have lunch at Cafe everyday. Your lunch was interesting >>>I mean cherry potatoes >>> I never saw and heard this food before ,anyway sandwich is the best for us to prepare and bring ,isn't it? and you can change your ingredents in your sandwich.

I think some teachers may have suggested bringing packed lunches. This is very common in England but may be strange for you. Last week I brought peanut butter sandwiches and small cherry tomatoes and cucumber. Then I had some fruit too. Do you have any recommendations?
